This winding road starts from the Islamabad Zoo and zig zags its way up to the popular Monal Restaurant, the point previously remembered as Gokina. The road doesn't end there. There are lots of places to explore. You could take a small detour into a mountainous village or follow the main road up to Pir Sohawa, and it doesn't end there....

This may be the reason for the name "banyon shade" but probably they got the spellings wrong.
